    I would pick the republican party this party was formed by opposing slavery.In 1860 Abraham
    lincoln became the first republican,but a major shift in party powers in 1932 when Franklyn D.Rosevelt he was a democrat , was elected president .Also republican fprmed in opposing slavery to.It was also a third party to the democrate and the whigs.for republican George wshington won a very close election.
