ReplyDeleteThe three branches of government is the Legislative, the Executive, and the Judicial. The Legislative Branch makes the laws, also pass laws, always spending bills, impeaching officals that is the senates job, and approving treaties that is the senates job too. The Legislative branch has two parts(houses). The house of Representatives and the Senate when put together it makes Congress. The Executive Branch is ran by the president himself and he is the one that carries out all the laws and recommends new ones, direct national defense & foreign policy, and performs ceremonial duties. Some of the powers are directing government, commanding the armed forces, dealing with international powers, acting as cheif law enforcement officer, and vetoing laws, and last but not least the Judicial Branch. It is ran by the Supreme Court. Its powers include interpreting the Constitution, reviewing laws, and deciding cases involving states' rights.

There are 3 branches of government, the executive, legislative, and judicial branches. The executive branch is headed by the president. The legislative is headed by congress. The judicial branch is headed by the supreme court. They divided the government up so that there wouldn't be another dictator or another tyrant.

ReplyDeletethe reason the us has three branches of goverment is so that no branch has too much power. they were afraid that if a small group had to much power than something bad would happen to the us. Therfore we have three branches of goverment, the legislative , judicial, and the executive branch. The legislative branch is the law making branch and congress takes over this branch. The senate & House of Represenatives make up Congress. The Executive branch is led by the President & Vice President, they have the job of carrying out the laws if they choose to. Then last is the Judicial branch which is taken over by the Supreme Court. They look over the laws & take over cases in which states' laws are included.
The three branches of government are Legislative, Executive, and Judical. The legislative branch makes the laws. The Executive branch consists of the President and they sign the bill that Congress wants to make a law. The Judical Branch consists of the Supreme Court. The three branches of government are very helpful to us.

ReplyDeletethe three branches of government are executive, judicial, and legislative. they all have very important jobs. the executive branch EXECUTES and carries out laws and is lead by the president. the judicial branch is made up of courts and enforces the laws. last but not least the legislative branch is made up of the house of representatives and senate and it makes our laws. these branches are very important without them there would be no order.
MATTHEW TAYLOE
the three branches are the legislative branch , the executive branch , and the judicial branch. it has to go through alot of steps including the house of representatives and senate. after that it goes to the full house . then it is debated on the floor. next it is sent to the other house for debate. then it goes to the committee. and after that the bill goes to the president. he can either sign or veto the law. or if it sits on his dest for more than 10 days it automatically becomes a law. if he veto's it it goes back to congress. it can be voted on by three-fourths of congress.then by two-thirds of congress. then it will become a law. ReplyDeleteHey Miss Hockaday! The Government has three branches. The reason for this is so no one branch has more power than the other. It all kind of balances out. It consists of the Legislative Branch, the Judicial Branch, and the Executive Branch. The Legislative Branch makes the laws and includes the House of Senate and the House of Representatives (Congress). Because it has 2 houses, which means it's bicameral. The Judicial Branch interprets the laws. It includes the Supreme Court and Justices. Last, but not least, the Executive Branch. The Executive Branch executes the laws. It includes the President and Vice President. But on the other hand, that's not all. We, the people, are an important part. But that's a whole other story.

The judicial branch is headed by the supreme court. the legislative branch is headed by congress. Congress is made up of the House of Representatives and the Senate.
