Creigh Deeds v. Bob McDonnell
Which person do you think is the best "fit" for the job of Virginia's governor? Now that we have reviewed the issues in class and some of the things that they want to change, who is best for the job? Why? Support your response in at least two sentences. Respond by October 25th in order to receive extra credit or replace a "0" on any assignment.

ReplyDeleteI think that Creigh Deeds should be elected. I really like his education plan, that one stands out the most and is the most importanat issue for me beacuse im a minor. He talks about offering forward scholarships to highschool students with "B" averages. To let this happen you have to promise to do 2 years of public service after your graduation. He would also TRY to raise teacher salaries for the benefit of we're in a recession...
I think that mcdonnell should when the election.I really like his plans for the future.I really like the way his plan is to widen I 66 road and he can keep promises!!

ReplyDeleteI think Bob Mcdonnell is best fit for the job. Mcdonnell has a really good health care plan, I totally support him in that. I also like his idea about giving the schools more money without raising taxes. But i do have to say I'm still not to sure. I'm really bias when it comes to Deed's education plan but I bias Mcdonnell for everything else.
I am pretty neutral but if i had to choose i think i'd choose McDonnell. he is the most fit in my oppinion. i think this because he seems more honest and planed out. When we were assaigned the comersial H.W., I had a hard time choosing but something in the back of my head kept saying Bob! Choose Bob! hahaha!! Also because i don,t like how Creigh Deeds doesn't have a transportation plan and how he tried to pretend! It made it hard because I LOVED Deeds' Education Plan and they both would make a great govener!

Creigh Deeds because he is going to fix some things dealing with education. More students would want him to win because he is trying to make it easier for us to learn. He is also trying to get a scholarship into effect for students with B averages for college. Deeds even wants try to increase teacher salaries. This is why i think that Creigh Deeds should be elected for governor.

ReplyDeleteI honestly like both candidates i like Creigh Deeds college plan. Bob McDonnell has a good healthcare plan and he says he is going to fix some of our main highways so i would probably say Bob McDonnell

ReplyDeleteI think Creigh Deeds should be elected because i like his plan for high school students. He will offer school scolarships to student that have a B average but they have to promise to do 2 years of public service after graduation. Also he is trying to help out transportation issue and build more public transportation.
I think that Republican Bob McDonnell would best fit this job. I like his tax plans.

i think that bob mcdonnell should be elected because i like his ideas about transportation and i think he would be a better fit for our governor even though deeds has a good education for scholarships he doesnt support our pre school programs i think mcdonnell will take the stage

I think that Criegh Deeds should be elected governor. He wants to set up a plan to help kids in high school with a B average by helping pay their scholarship. it would help many high school students.
ReplyDeleteI think that Creigh Deeds should be elected. I think he should be elected because he's trying to fix VA's problems. I like his education plan too. He says if you do 2 years of pub. service , he'll pay for your college. Only, if you have a B averge though. I still like his plans. I like his other plans alson. Thats my opinion why he should be elected:)
ReplyDeletei think that bob mcdonnell is best fit for the job of virginia's govenor . crigh deeds is using his edu. plan for a propaganda. bob mcdonnell might want to make a highway wider , and that might ruin habitats but i believe he will make up for it by saving many animals too. bob mcdonnell will make sure kids get good education from the start at pre - k. He will increase the jobs and online programs , offers health care increase funding . so basically they say they will do the same thing but then for me mcdonnell gets a lead by his commercials and i vbelieve in him more than creigh deeds. cause he says he has a plan and when we ask for it he makes one up so he wont look bad i mean really? is he gonna do that in office dudde,

ReplyDeleteI think Bob McDonnell should be elected to office. He wants to increase money for schools without increasin taxes. He also wants to have more online learning. He wants to widen roads to the people can travel easier.He also wants to lower cost for healthcare and retrain the workforce.
i thint that mcdonnell should get electeted.His campain was the best and hes stuck on his thoughts and sometimes thats the best.

I think it should be Mcdonalds should be governor becuase his plans are more clear. He wants to help our economy by creating jobs and he wants to help the envoriment. with alternitive fuel services.

the reason why i want him to be elected is because hes helping out with students education.
Like students that make B's and higher could get a scholership, and he also talk about he would help out with more jobs.

ReplyDeleteI think that Mc Donnel should win because he has a nice idea about giving people without jobs get welfare free. The other thing is that he has a another idea about our encomic he said that people with small jobs that get small pay they shoul get alot of tax back so for what they pay for.

ReplyDeleteI think Creigh Deeds is someone i would like to see as governor.His health care and plan stand out to me the most because being a kid my age u get sick and theres no dought about that, his health care plan provides affordable health care,helps unemployed worker purchase emergency health insurance,and trys to help boost prevention and wellness efforts to combat obesity and smoking. I really like all of his plans but this one just sticks out to me the most..=]
I think that Creigh Deeds is best for this job because his plan for health care is better than Bob McDonnell's heath plan because Deeds wants to give to people without jobs and McDonnell just wants to give it people thst have very bad illnesses.... Aaron Elder
